My client, a successful West Kent based company is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to join them at an exciting period of change.  An owner managed SME business with a key focus on the growth and development of its people, they are looking for a passionate individual to join them and become a key member of their management team.

A company with the capacity to operate nationally from its 5 hubs around the UK, the role is based out of their Kent head office and heads up a compact finance team of 4.

The MD is currently driving the transformation of the business with a significant focus on the continued success of this entrepreneurial organisation for the benefit of its employees.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Be a key member of the leadership team
- Clearly prepare and present salient management information for the Owner
- Preparation of management accounts
- Cashflow forecasting
- System/process development
- Ad-hoc queries on accounts/budget
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Identification of risks and opportunities
- Working closely with external advisors/internal management/board
- Key message on the accounts/budgets/ variance analysis
- Day to day involvement in the year end process

This position would be best suited to a qualified or QBE accountant with previous experience in a similar role and knowledge on compliance areas including CIS/VAT advantageous.
