This modern, remote accounting firm is looking for a savvy, practice-experienced Senior Accountant to joint their fast-growing accounting practice. They're looking for someone who's happy to work remotely the majority of the time, but travel to Sevenoaks 2-4 times per month.

You'll be joining a not-your-everyday accounting practice with a fun, vibrant team and a laid-back culture, where no two days are the same and you'll never be bored. They've been remote since day one, and are proud to offer an incredible work/life balance with flexible hours, unlimited holiday and various wellness perks throughout the year.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' practice experience and be ACA/ACCA qualified, having worked with SMEs of all shapes and sizes, with experience using Iris and Xero accounting software. Charity experience is a bonus.

The firm's clients are mostly London-based, dynamic, fast-paced, forward-thinking, owner-managed businesses, many in receipt of or seeking funding/investment for fast growth, and expect second-to-none bookkeeping, accounting and client service from their team.

You'll be confident taking on the following responsibilities to assist junior accountants, bookkeepers, directors and clients:
- Review/prepare statutory accounts & CT600 returns
- Review/prepare accounts workflow for junior accountants
- Manage and maintain relationships with overseas teams
- Review Self Assessment returns
- Review the work of the bookkeeping team, spotting errors and providing feedback and solutions to any discrepancies
- Liaise with clients and provide advisory services
- Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts including commentary, advisory and consolidations and reports
- Keep up to date with financial policies, practices, and regulations, and comply with tax regulations
- Support the Clic team with high-level accounting issues and queries
- Deal with HMRC correspondence and enquiries
- Support third party auditors
- Attending internal and client meetings
- Occasional team training and implementation of new/improved procedures and processes

Musts:
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Xero and Quickbooks knowledge and/or certification
- Accounting practice experience working on multiple client accounts
- Great email/phone/video chat communication and English grammar skills
- Client focussed with a positive, solutions-based attitude and mindset
- Ability to work independently from home and produce accurate work under tight deadlines

If the above job description tickles your fancy, please send your CV and covering letter letting them know why you'd be perfect for this position (applicants without a covering letter won't be considered).
