ROLE: Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm
LOCATION: Langley, Hybrid with on-site parking
HOURLY RATE: up to £16.50ph, depending on experience + holiday accrual + Office Angels benefits
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week, work between 7am - 5pm
We are currently working with a growing international healthcare business, which are looking for an additional person in their Accounts Team. You will report directly to the Accountant and support with the day-to-day running of the accounts. They are looking for someone with experience in Accounts Payable or Sales Ledger, or as an Accounts Assistant. They are happy to provide training if you do not have all of the relevant skills and are keen to learn more about an Accounts Assistant position.
Duties will include:
* Purchase ledger - coding and approval of supplier invoices
* Producing Purchase Order numbers
* Posting supplier invoices
* Reconciling supplier month end balances
* Sales ledger - coding customer invoices
* Reconciling differences on deliveries
* Preparing and reconciliations of customer statements
* Credit control - chasing overdue payments
* Managing monthly employee expenses
* Depreciation, accruals, and payments
* HMRC reporting
* Producing reports as required for the Accountant
* Assisting with audits
About you:
* You will be available to start work immediately
* You will have a degree in finance or accounting, or have completed/in the process of a finance qualification, like ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT
* Confident user of MS office, in particularly Excel you will need to be comfortable with formulas and preferably have experience with CRM systems
* Fluent in English
