Office Administrator/Receptionist
SALARY £18,000 T0 £22,000 per annum dependant on experience
EVDS Ltd are the UK leaders in vacuum drainage technology for the building industry with clients such as Tesco, Sainsbury, ASDA, and Waitrose as well as major projects at Heathrow T5 and St Pancras International Station.
We are looking for an Office Administrator/receptionist to join our friendly, small team based in Lordswood, Chatham. The ideal candidate will be well organised, have a good command of computer systems such as Word, Excel and Sage Accounting (knowledge of Sage not essential), able to perform basic administrative task and an excellent customer service focus.
Standard hours will be 8.30 to 4.30, 37.5-hour week.
Duties will include.
• To be first point of contact for visitors and employees and to be able to deal appropriately with all requests for information and take the necessary action.
• To effectively manage the reception area, directing callers and visitors, providing them with a dedicated service and ensuring safety procedures are adhered to.
• Perform a variety of general administrative duties across all departments including booking travel and data input.
• Providing hospitality to clients and visitors for meetings – meet and greet & refreshments.
• Engagement in projects, which you will have the opportunity to make your own such as the creation of manuals and marketing documents.
• Ordering of all company stationery and ensuring stock levels are acceptable.
• Assisting the service manager with engineers’ worksheets and invoicing
• Occasionally assisting with customer orders which will involve some light warehouse duties such as picking and packing.
• Assisting with the company health and safety protocols/procedures such as keeping fire safety equipment records up to date.
As a small team we are looking for someone to work across all departments from sales, to servicing, to finance. Administrative experience would be desirable, but our main focus is someone willing to learn and get stuck in.
