Our client is looking for an experienced HE/FE Tutor, with hands on experience in writing or managing curriculums, joining their existing Computing Department in East Kent to teach, train and assess students in a variety of exciting learning environments.

The Minimum Requirements:

* Effective communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
* Ability to motivate, encourage and support students.
* 1 year lecturing/training/teaching experience.
* Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or PGCE.
* Up to date industrial knowledge.
* Working knowledge of Awarding Bodies.
* Enhanced DBS check.

The successful candidate will dive into the realm of cutting-edge technology by teaching captivating subjects such as robotics, cyber security, networking, project management, virtual reality, and game design. You will be a guiding force for the next generation of computing enthusiasts, both in Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE). You will take the reins in defining the computing curriculum, leading the charge in all aspects of this dynamic field.

The Role:

* Craft a tailored and unique curriculum that aligns seamlessly with modern skill demands and student needs. Collaborate closely with the Department leadership team to drive exceptional student progression.
* Take the helm in orchestrating the delivery team to ensure all students have access to timely course information. From pre-course events to program kick-offs, enable students to grasp course objectives, assessment schedules, and meet awarding body criteria, including our comprehensive course handbook.
* Keep courses/programs current and up to date. Closely monitor course/program development and progress. Track student progress, behaviours, and attitudes, including English and Maths, and where relevant, work experience. Forge a strong partnership with the Department leadership team to maintain a close relationship with the awarding body/validating institution, adhering meticulously to quality assurance standards.
* Collaborate closely with the Department leadership team to maintain a robust connection with the awarding body/validating institution. Comply diligently with all requirements, including stringent quality assurance protocols.
* Engage proactively with the Department leadership team and actively participate in the College's self-assessment processes. Contribute to these processes through thorough and critical evaluations of course/program quality to drive continuous improvement.
