Our client who is an Insurance Broker in North West London, is looking for Junior Account Handler to join their expanding team. The purpose of the role is to assist the Healthcare Insurance team to support the Brokers and technical team.
Main Duties:
* Management of a variety of administrative tasks to provide key support to the brokers and technical teams
* Processing premiums for renewals & mid-term adjustments.
* Preparing, organising and issuing quotes/policy documentation for clients
* Preparing summaries of quotes obtained from the market for comparative purposes.
* Creating new electronic files for risks and electronic filing of communications.
* Data input onto internal systems.
* Monitor and check policy documents for accuracy.
* Obtaining policy documents utilising insurers portal systems etc.
* Obtaining claims information from insurers.
* Taking calls and liaising with markets and clients.
* Creation/maintenance of spreadsheets
* Handling general office correspondence including, post, phone calls, emails etc.
* Any other duties as may be required by the company.
Essential Skills Required:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Strong IT skills including all MS Office
* Excellent communication skills
* Good levels of accuracy
Desirable:
* Good organisation skills
* Previous admin, customer service or insurance work experience - NOT ESSENTIAL
