Are you ready for the next step?

We are looking for a great motivator with excellent communication and organisational skills to manage and develop our new service supporting Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers across Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.

You’ll manage and oversee the day-to-day operation and delivery of the service, ensuring performance monitoring outcomes and KPI’s are met. You’ll develop partnerships with local stakeholders, practitioners, businesses and services to promote and embed the service, facilitating the development of Carer friendly culture.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a positive team culture and develop the local team, ensuring staff receive induction, supervision and training. You’ll manage a small caseload and support the delivery of the service’s activity package as required, including respite activities, online groups, face-to-face sessions.

Applicants should have relevant staff or project management experience in social care, health, education or the voluntary and community sector relating to working with vulnerable adults and/or children. You should have operational experience of multi-agency working, a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services.

This is a full-time role. Driver with own car preferred.
