Bookkeeper | Maidstone Kent | £30-35K
Our client based on the outskirts of Maidstone are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper to join their team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for maintaining the books and records for the smaller entities, processing sales and purchase invoice and closing at month end. The successful candidate will also be required to help with additional tasks.
You will be responsible for:-
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Allocating receipts and payments
• Posting journals
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Completing VAT returns
• Full accruals and prepayment schedules
You will need:-
• Previous experience in a bookkeeping environment
• AAT or QBE
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of VAT regulations
