Arken.Legal is a leader in the provision of technology and digital services to the growing estate planning industry in the United Kingdom. As a Software as a Service provider, our core product provides legal document automation, alongside an expanding product suite.

We are a small, growing, and innovative team and work with some of the largest legal firms in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

This role has the responsibility for developing new sales for the company. As an experienced business developer, you will target new clients – within defined market sectors for example law firms, will writers, accountants, and financial advisors – to demonstrate how they can benefit from the Arken product suite.

Your goal is to deliver your personal revenue targets. You are also responsible for contributing to the commercial team performance through collaborating with and supporting team members.

To achieve these targets, you will work closely with the Head of Growth and Head of Customer Engagement to execute and contribute to the company’s strategies in an agile manner as appropriate for a small business.

Key requirements:-
• 5+ years of experience in a solution sell environment with a proven track record of achieving targets
• Strong sales experience and abilities
• Ability to work within a team comprised of acquisition, account management, marketing and support
• Experience in building lasting, high quality and profitable customer relationships
• Experience working within a collaborative, customer centric and sales focused agile business
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
• Superb organization skills, with strong sense of personal responsibility
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic and positive person who thrives in a small-team environment
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Good sense of humour :)

Accountabilities
• Research, approach and communicate with potential clients in the UK to understand their business, present solutions from the Arken product suite, and deliver targeted revenue.
• Improve connections with new potential clients to build a network of contacts in the Wills and Probate industry and build knowledge and understanding of the Wills and Probate industry
• Work with Head of Growth to define and embed efficient and effective processes and tools
• Take ownership of the quality of data held in the CRM ensuring that you accurately and regularly track activities and capture all client data
• Provide regular sales reporting on an efficient basis
• Work with the Head of Growth and marketing to develop, manage and deliver marketing activities and processes that are aligned to the market and business objectives
• Share content on LinkedIn where appropriate to build brand awareness and sales leads
• Work with the wider commercial team to deliver continuous improvements
• Attending face to face events as required
