A well establish Chartered Accountancy practice near Hastings is on the lookout for the next member of the tax team! They are a down-to-earth company focusing on staff retention and staff enjoyment! Their employee events and relaxed office environment really create a fantastic mindset within the current staff; just one of many reason why there is such a low turnover!

Your role will be a varied within the tax team looking after personal and corporate tax clients. You will encounter IHT, CGT, tax returns and so much more. Strong interpersonal skills is essential for this role as you will be helping others within your team as well as within other departments, assisting them with any queries they may need support with. You will report directly to the Tax Managers or the Partner looking after your department.

This position only requires you to be in the office 2 days a week after training. On top of this, they offer flexible hours and any optional overtime you may do, can be taken off the end of a day in the week!

A successful candidate will have a great knowledge of tax procedures and processes as well as strong communicative skills to maintain a high level of customer service for clients. A big advantage would be part-qualified in either AAT, CTA or similar with some experience within practice.

Salary is between £30-£35,000 pa + bonus + benefits and can be flexible dependent on experience and qualifications.
