Department: Maintenance Management
Job type: Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract (1 Year)
Salary: Circa. £28k + benefits (Dependent on experience).
The Role
To carry out all aspects of managing stock items under the responsibility of the Maintenance Support Department, in line with procedures and instructions. This involves receipting goods, storage, dealing with issues, preparing and escorting deliveries, and administering the pick ticket reservation system and the stock repairable process.
Principal Accountabilities
• Participating in the rolling cycle counting and annual stock checks.
• Follows and ensures the enforcement of health and safety (H&S) rules at all times.
• Ensures receipts activities, including, unloading, administrative, technical, and computer reception, non-conformities handling, follow-up of quarantine items, product identification, and reintegration, manages shelf-life date of storage, etc.
• Ensures the storage of items in compliance with the bin locations, volume, and storage conditions
• Responsible for the preparation of all items for distribution in the UK or transfer of items for delivery to the maintenance teams in France (FR).
• Preparation and distribution of the reserved parts on the UK side.
• The preparation of items to transfer between UK/FR and FR/UK.
• Ensuring the delivery of items to the required deadlines.
• In charge of the collection in the workshop of the items that are not used and/or to be repaired and responsible for the transfers to the appropriate satellite stores.
• Carries out the follow-up of the urgent UK/FR and FR/UK transfers and their availability to the maintenance teams in the shortest possible time.
• Ensures the preparation and delivery of parts to be repaired (through an external carrier) at the request of the repairable inventory technician or Team Leader.
• Must be Flexible to meet the challenging and changing operational requirements of operations and maintenance teams.
• Complies with the Quality Assurance provisions described in the Technical Division and Eurotunnel quality system.
• Follows and ensures the enforcement of the health and safety rules applied in the department, the Technical Division, and Eurotunnel.
