Senior Credit Controller / Debt Collector
Location: Chatham
Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience + Uncapped bonus (£1500 extra per month)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller / Debt Collector for an ongoing temporary position based in Chatham. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in credit control and debt collection, who is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity. Due to the location of our client, the candidate will need to have their own transport.

Day-to-day of the role:
*Managing and overseeing the credit control and debt collection processes.
*Proactively contacting clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
*Resolving queries and disputes related to invoicing and payments.
*Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity.
*Recommending and implementing improvements to the credit control process.
*Preparing reports on the status of credit and collections.
*Working closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a credit control or debt collection role.
*Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
*A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of the client.
