Technical Administrator

Due to business growth and development, we are seeking a Technical Administrator to complement the team within our technical department. The post holder will be responsible for completing and managing large spreadsheets, maintaining customer portal data, controlling master data sheets, updating price files and performing general administrative tasks. The role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data, which supports our business operations and customer satisfaction.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (40 hours per week). We are willing to consider a variation of these hours, if necessary, for the right candidate.

Salary of £24,960.00.

About the Role:

The responsibilities and main duties for this position include but are not limited to the following: -

• Data sheet Management:
- Create, update, and manage large spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across all spreadsheets.

• Customer Portal Data Maintenance:
- Update and maintain product information on customers respective portals.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer data promptly.
- Ensure timely and accurate input of data into the customer portals.

• Data Master Sheets Control:
- Maintain and update master data sheets to ensure current and accurate information can be found quickly and precisely.
- Implement data validation processes to ensure data quality is true and usable.
- Coordinate with different departments to collect and verify data.

• Price Files Updates:
- Regularly update customer and contractor price files with the latest information.
- Ensure accuracy in pricing data to prevent discrepancies.
- Communicate changes in price files to relevant parties

• General Administration:
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports as needed.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of administrative tasks.
- Gain basic product understanding to provide cover when needed.

About You:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work to specific and key deadlines
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (especially VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc) and other spreadsheet software.
