My client is a burgeoning multi academy trust, looking to recruit a key new appointment of Director of Finance to their central leadership team.

The Director of Finance will hold responsibility for providing strategic leadership of the Trust`s financial operations, ensuring robust and healthy financial management across all schools and ensuring that all statutory and reporting requirements are met. The post reports into a long-standing CEO and holds a core position within the leadership team, providing sustainable growth for the Trust.  You`ll help to execute the Trust`s Strategic Development Plan, providing sound commercial and financial analysis and advice.  You`ll oversee all finance matters, including financial audit, compliance and full budget management.  You`ll lead the Finance Team as the Trust grows and will have excellent knowledge of the principles and methods of financial controls and reporting, with the ability to demonstrate strategic financial planning and management.

Applications are sought from fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) individuals with experience of the education sector would be preferred. The successful candidate will be dynamic and collaborative, with experience of mentoring and managing a team, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  You will also bring the energy, ambition and clarity to guide the Trust through its next exciting phase of development.
