An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Administrator to work with a long-term client who values and supports their staff. We deeply appreciate the work of this client and their dedication to employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the smooth running of the transport shift, including ensuring appropriate resources are available to meet the planned activity levels.
* Assist in vehicle maintenance and monitor all defects and faults, updating the weekly compliance board.
* Keep all service maintenance records up to date in files and PC systems.
* Compile reports for all vehicle and driver incidents/accidents.
* Ensure vehicles are listed on the ULEZ, London Congestion Zone, and Dart Charge accounts and compliant with legislation affecting Kent/Sussex transport.
* Follow company procedures to ensure any parking tickets are paid on time and notifications are passed to HR for wage deductions.
* Ensure Health and Safety compliance and recommendations are up to date.
* Liaise with HR on employment law compliance for our Transport Operations, including Health and Safety.
* Implement and adhere to CPC and Tachograph requirements.
* Monitor annual leave for rota planning and driver hours/contracted hours.
* Provide feedback to the employee and transport team on achievements and concerns to help identify improvement opportunities.
* Assist in the recruitment of driving staff as required.
Person Specification
* Clean driving license
* Ability to communicate effectively with members of staff at all levels.
* Proven organisational skills, including planning and problem-solving.
* Proven record of delivering excellent customer service, including meeting customer expectations.
* Flexible working attitude.
* Previous experience of working within a busy environment, ideally within transport.
* Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Office 365 software.
Job Types: Part Time/Permanent
Working Hours are Tuesday - Friday 1500-1900 And Saturday 1100-1500
