Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Loading Bay Assistants to join their business based in Sittingbourne, Kent
Immediate start is available and these roles will be ongoing
Further training is available for the right candidate
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting drivers to secure loads to trailers
- General housekeeping
- Ensuring that all vehicles that are collecting the loads are fit for purpose
- Ensuring that visiting drivers use the correct equipment
- Ensuring that drivers are directed to the correct area for loading
- Ensuring that all site rules are followed
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental systems and procedures
- Maintaining the warehouse equipment
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Due to this being a physically demanding role, the successful candidate will need to be physically fit
- The ability to work well as part of a close knit team
- A driving licence is preferred but this is not essential
Other details:
- A 2 week rotating pattern of both Days and Nights
- 12 hour shifts
- Pay rates range from £11.44 to £11.96 per hour depending on shifts + holiday pay
