Working 25 hours per week within the busy Sales Department supporting a successful portfolio of B2B exhibitions and conferences, this customer-facing position requires someone to be confident on the phone. You will be working with the Event Director to support the marketing strategy plans to achieve sales targets.
As a Executive you will be working with the Event Director's guidance, calling a spectrum of contacts, from marketing departments through to C-level executives, selling exhibition space. This role is heavily telephone sales.
To be considered for this role we prefer a proven B2B sales background, but are also willing to fully train the right person.
Ideal hours will cross Monday-Friday, but we are open to discuss.
Job role includes:
-Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
-Cultivating new relationships to build our client base, growing and developing sales revenue across the event portfolio
-Using our CRM system (ACT!) contacting relevant contacts via telephone
-Listening to customer requirements and presenting relevant events that suit their offering
-Closing sales
-Keeping the CRM database updated
-Participating in team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
-Attending events as part of Revolution's on-site management team
-Using the O365 tools available to collaborate with the company
Essential Skills:
-Organised and methodical approach
-Strong inter-personal skills & polite, clear telephone manner
-Good level of IT-literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook, plus online tools)
-Confident making sales calls
-Friendly ‘can do’ attitude
