The People Services Team at Leigh Academies Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for a People Administrator. This is a great chance to become part of a skilled HR team and learn from industry experts!
We're seeking a personable, proactive individual who is always willing to go the extra mile and eager to grow. No previous HR experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
In this role, you'll:
Assist activities associated with the entire employee cycle; including on boarding and off boarding processes, recruitment, the SCR, personnel files, absence management and personnel employee administration.
Assist with systems and processes to ensure that information and data for the monthly payroll is accurate.
Maintain confidential staff files, filing and updating archive records where appropriate
Provide support to the People Advisors and People Partner with employee relations administration and assist with notetaking during meetings and discussions
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, and someone who is able to prioritise their own workload.
This role provides an excellent foundation for building a successful career in HR, equipping you with essential knowledge and hands-on experience.
The role is based in Strood, Rochester, with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office and 2 from home). Hours are 37 per week, all year round, Monday- Friday. We are flexible in terms of working hours, however, our core times are between 10am and 4pm.
Our successful candidate will receive;
A starting salary of £24,404 per annum
25 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays, which increases to 30 days with length of service
