Account Executive (London)

Our client is one of the fastest growing Lloyds Brokers looking for an Account Executive to join their London based team. This role involves handling wholesale Irish accounts with a focus on Property, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced Account Advisor/Handler looking to expand their skills.

Main Duties:

* Manage a book of renewals and new business enquiries, handling the process from start to finish.
* Respond promptly to intermediary queries and accurately document all communications with customers, insurers, and business contacts.
* Underwrite on an in-house Property binder.
* Inform intermediaries of policy cover, terms, conditions, and claims protocol, ensuring clients understand policy requirements.
* Handle mid-term policy queries, cover changes, and issue endorsements or other documentation as needed.
* Maintain and develop client relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge.
* Ensure the accuracy and quality of system data for data integrity.
* Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations by staying updated with regulatory changes.
* Prepare MRC Slips and Endorsements for Lineslip and Open Market business.
* Liaise with team members, Underwriters, and Producers as needed.
* Upload MRC slips to PPL for Underwriter sign-off.
* Produce formal policy documentation.

Essential Skills Required:

* Experience managing a personal portfolio of property risks placed within the London Market.
* Experience dealing with whole sale business
* Understanding of and experience with MRC Slips and MRCE endorsements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systems, with a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
* Experience in the insurance industry with a passion for delivering excellent client service.

Desired Skills:

* Familiarity with PPL and experience in the London Market.
* Delegated authority or binder experience
* 5 years London Market experience
