Trainee Insurance Technician
  £26000.00 - £30000 per annum

A large leading Lloyd's Broker is seeking a motivated Trainee Insurance Technician to join their expanding team in the brand new Milton Keynes Hub. This role is ideal for a recent Graduate or School/ College Leaver that is keen to begin a career in insurance, with a focus on technical and support for the broking team.



Role Purpose:
To provide essential technical and administrative support to the broker team, ensuring smooth processing of insurance documents and effective client service.



Main Duties:

* Assisting in the preparation, processing, and management of insurance documentation.
* Supporting brokers with data entry, policy administration, and maintenance of accurate records.
* Assists in the creation of client and broking documents
* Process slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements
* Managing queries from clients, underwriters, and brokers
* Deal with client renewals and mid-term adjustments as appropriate
* Responds to the clients(both internal and external)
* Learning the fundamentals of insurance processes, policies, and risk management.
* Attending team meetings and training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of the insurance industry.



Essential Skills Required:

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* A willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward developing new skills.
* Minimum education 3 A-Levels grade C or above (or equivalent)



Desirable Skills:

* Some wok experience within Insurance is advantageous but not essential.
* Interest in pursuing industry qualifications such as CII in the future.
