Graduate Research Executive / Market Research Executive
  £24,000 - £26,000 + benefits
  Tonbridge and Malling, Kent
  permanent,full-time

We are looking for a bright & enthusiastic graduate to join an ambitious and growing market research agency based in East Malling, Kent.

Do you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem solving and want to build a career in research? If you are looking to develop a challenging and fulfilling career and want to make a personal impact in a successful agency, then we would like to hear from you.

Working as part of a small team, you will play a key role in supporting senior researchers and will be given responsibility from day one. You will be involved in all stages of the research process including research design, fieldwork management, analysis and preparation of reports/presentations. You will have the opportunity to deal directly with clients and suppliers, and to assist with business development.

Some familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research techniques (either from a previous job or as part of your degree) would be advantageous but is not a requirement. We will provide training so using your initiative to grow, develop and learn is more important.

We welcome applications from candidates with good academic qualifications across the spectrum of subject areas. Intelligence, natural curiosity and the ability to think both analytically and creatively are good indicators of aptitude for a career in market research and insight.

To be considered for the role, candidates should have:
• An undergraduate degree
• A methodical and detailed approach in your thinking and your work
• A curiosity to understand the ‘why’ behind what people/businesses do
• An interest in data and numbers and the ability to interpret survey findings
• Strong analytical skills (some knowledge of statistical techniques is useful but not critical)
• Good written skills (e.g. ability to write in a clear, attractive and insightful way)
• A desire to share ideas with your colleagues and contribute to the overall team objectives

Within the role you’ll find a friendly working environment, a knowledgeable team and clear progression opportunities.

Initially the role will be primarily office-based. This will provide the opportunity to meet the team and learn from them, with the potential to progress to a hybrid working arrangement (e.g. 2-3 days in the office and the rest at home) as your skills develop.

Please provide a CV and tailored covering letter explaining why you think you would be a good fit for the role. Generic applications will not be considered.

No agencies.
