Our client, a leading independent boutique insurance broker specializing in Theatre and Entertainment risks, is seeking a Trainee Account Handler to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver looking to start their career in insurance. Based in the heart of Theatreland in Farringdon, you'll be joining a friendly, client-focused team that prioritizes exceptional service.

Main Duties:

* Assist with the management of accounts, providing support from initial enquiry to policy renewal.
* Work closely with new and existing clients to understand their insurance needs.
* Learn to identify suitable insurance markets and cover options.
* Assist in preparing broking presentations and negotiating with insurers.
* Support the team in presenting quotes to clients and explaining coverage options.
* Help create and dispatch client documentation.
* Assist with monitoring premium collections and maintaining accurate records.
* Support clients through the claims process, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Essential Skills Required:

* A strong interest or experience in theatre, music or entertainment
* Achieved A Levels or equivalent in 2024 or 2023 with CCC and above
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A keen interest in starting a career in the insurance industry.
* Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a supportive environment.
* A commitment to providing excellent customer service.

What you need to know:

* Permanent role
* Based in: Farringdon, London EC1 (Hammersmith & City, District, and Circle Line) with the option to work from home one day per week, if required.

* Salary: Up to £25,000
