Enrichment & Community Engagement Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum.
Salary: £22,458.19 per annum (£18,929.41 per annum salary + £3,531.77 enhanced holiday pay) (Tier 6 - £24,672 per annum, full time equivalent)
Location: This role is based at our Tonbridge Campus. However, the nature of the work may require travelling to any of the College’s campuses.
North Kent College (including Hadlow College) is proudly rated as an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider, with ‘Outstanding’ learner behaviours and attitudes (April 2024). With four campuses across Kent and 4,000 students, we strive to equip the young people who study here with an inclusive and innovative education experience to enhance their future career prospects, which, as noted by Ofsted, is supported through our high-quality, industry standard facilities. Each and every staff member plays a key part in delivering the success of our learners’ experience, and we want those who join our curriculum and support teams to share our passion in achieving this.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Enrichment & Community Officer to develop and lead a comprehensive programme of social action projects, enrichment activities, and personal development events.
This role is pivotal in increasing student engagement and embedding a culture of volunteerism. The role will enhance the wider enrichment opportunities available to our students beyond their vocational specialism and improve their college experience.
This role is a term time only role, across 40 weeks per year. As part of the staff of North Kent College Business Services Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of North Kent College), you can look forward to a generous benefits offer, enhanced holiday pay, enrolment onto the People’s Partnership pension scheme, free parking, and access to a range of onsite facilities (including restaurants and coffee shops).
For a full job description and to apply, please visit North Kent College’s staff vacancies page.
The closing date for applications is Monday 21st April with interviews taking place on Tuesday 29th April 2025.
North Kent College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and all staff have a responsibility to share and maintain this commitment.
