I am looking to speak with a creative, hands-on communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves bringing stories to life? My client is looking for a Marketing and Communications Lead to shape and elevate their voice - a growing, dynamic business at the heart of the construction industry.
In this exciting and varied role, you'll have the chance to build a strong, modern brand, lead impactful marketing campaigns, and develop a communications culture that connects people across our business and beyond. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and senior teams to help define how we present themselves to the world-through tenders, social media, internal engagement, and unforgettable events.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who's strategic but still loves getting stuck in. If you enjoy wearing many hats, including a hard hat, great at prioritising, and are genuinely passionate about connecting people and ideas, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
* Brand & Marketing Leadership
Develop and own the marketing strategy-leading all content, campaigns, and brand management activities across web, social, print, and beyond.
* Internal & External Comms
Build strong relationships across the company, create engaging newsletters and updates, and lead initiatives that bring our values and culture to life.
* Bids & Tenders
Work alongside the MD and Estimating team to craft high-quality bid documents, presentations, and professional case studies.
* Events & Experiences
Plan and deliver memorable internal and external events-from wellness initiatives and client hospitality.
* Digital Presence & Storytelling
Keep our website and LinkedIn thriving with fresh content, project stories, team updates, and thought leadership that reflects our values and vision.
About You
* You're a confident communicator, equally at home writing a newsletter, presenting at a team meeting, or managing photographers on-site.
* You're brilliantly organised and can juggle multiple projects with calm and clarity.
* You've got a great eye for design, tone of voice, and storytelling across formats.
* You enjoy creating systems and structure-even in creative workstreams.
* You bring a positive energy and are motivated by purpose, collaboration, and progress.
Bonus points if you've worked in construction or a related sector-but it's not necessary.
Salary - £35,000FTE
Hours - 3 days or school hours - (24 hours per week)
