Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fabricator/Welder with Structural experience to join our team in Faversham.
Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate metal components according to technical drawings and instructions
- Assemble and fit metal components using various welding techniques
- Cut and assemble components using factory tools and equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Experienced in the following welding techniques: MIG welding, MMA/TIG welding
- Proficient in working with stainless and aluminum
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components accurately
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication process
- Forklift license desirable
- Good engineering knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone or in a team
The candidate will be based in the workshop but maybe required to work off site or away when required.
Overtime will be available where required.
Full UK driving license required
