Graduate VAT Associate

Location: Edenbridge
Salary: £26,000 + bonus (OTE £28,000)

My client, a growing and well-established VAT consultancy, is looking for a detail-driven Graduate VAT Associate to join their team. Full training is provided, and you’ll work closely with experienced professionals while progressing towards the VAT Diploma.

What you’ll do
• Support senior team members with VAT audits, scoping reports, and SPV reports
• Draft client letters, reports, and HMRC correspondence
• Prepare straightforward VAT returns and help ensure timely submission
• Spot basic VAT-saving opportunities within residential development projects
• Manage and prioritise your own workload to support team efficiency
• Contribute to team targets by delivering tasks on time
• Provide professional, friendly responses to client queries

What we’re looking for
• Degree or A-levels (or equivalent)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Well organised, self-motivated, and hardworking
• Positive, flexible, and able to work well in a team
