WOODWORK PREP & SANDING TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME – ASHFORD, KENT
Collins Bespoke is expanding, and we’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Woodwork Prep & Sanding Technician to join our growing workshop team.
You will play a key role in preparing our high-end bespoke cabinetry for finishing. This is a crucial stage of our manufacturing process, ensuring every piece leaves the workshop with the exceptional quality Collins Bespoke is known for.
What You’ll Do:
Sand and prepare all cabinetry components to a high standard;
Work closely with our workshop and paint room teams;
Carry out minor filling, surface checks, and quality control;
Ensure all parts are prepped efficiently and ready for spraying;
Keep workspaces clean, organised, and safe;
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in wood sanding, prep, furniture making, or a similar workshop role;
Excellent eye for detail and pride in producing quality work;
Good work ethic — reliable, proactive, and able to work independently;
Understanding of workshop tools (sanders, dust extraction, etc.);
Ability to work to timelines without compromising finish quality;
