Buyer - Residential House Building
Location: Canterbury
Projects: New Build Houses & Flats (100-125 Units Annually)
Build Types: Traditional & Timber Frame
We are currently seeking an experienced buyer to join a well-established Margate-based house builder delivering between 100 and 125 new homes per year across Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the procurement process for a variety of traditional build and timber-framed residential projects.
Role Overview:

* Manage procurement of materials and plant for multiple live sites
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
* Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet site programmes
* Monitor budgets, negotiate pricing, and maintain cost control
* Work closely with site teams, commercial, and technical departments

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience in a buying role within residential construction
* Strong negotiation and organisational skills
* Knowledge of traditional and timber frame construction methods
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Excellent communication and IT skills
