Grounds and Gardens Manager 




Full time

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced grounds person to be responsible for the management, upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful grounds and gardens at our Prep and Senior Schools. This will also include the sports fields on both sites which include football and rugby pitches, cricket wickets, athletics tracks, astroturf, and hard surface courts.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in the management of grounds maintenance, including sports turf, have an eye for detail and be able to manage a small team with.  You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with school policy and practice for risk assessments, COSHH and statutory legal requirements.

 

As well as your grounds maintenance skills, you should be able to operate and maintain grounds machinery in line with the necessary Health & Safety requirements, including tractors and trailers, pedestrian and ride on mowers, brushcutters, hedgecutters etc.
