People Resources Coordinator
  £28,200 per annum
  Dartford, Kent
  permanent,full-time

Where you’ll work: Based at our Dartford campus, with occasional travel to the Gravesend / Hadlow / Tonbridge sites if required.

Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.

Your pay: £28,200 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Kent College as a People Resources Coordinator.

Working as part of a close-knit People team – including Director of People, Deputy Director of People, two People Business Partners, People Resourcing Manager, People & Resourcing Partner, and a second People Resources Coordinator – you’ll collaborate to deliver responsive, high-quality services across the organisation.

As a People Resources Coordinator, you’ll provide customer-focused, pragmatic support to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll work in partnership with colleagues across the People team to deliver a proactive, value-adding service to your designated business areas, building trusted relationships with staff and managers.

Highly organised and detail-oriented, you’ll ensure People processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with organisational policies, procedures, and best practice, while helping to create a positive experience for everyone you support.

This could be the role for you if you:

Have experience in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant role and are ready to take the next step in your career, or can demonstrate transferable skills and a genuine interest in building a career in HR.
Have a sound understanding of HR principles and employment legislation, and are confident providing first-line advice on routine People matters, such as sickness absence and certification.
Have experience supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, or have transferable experience coordinating high-volume, process-driven activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
Are highly organised, IT proficient, and confident maintaining HR systems and records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment, building positive working relationships while managing competing priorities effectively.

If you're a proactive team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to prioritise a varied workload while delivering exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you!

The benefits:

In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect the following benefits.

33 days’ annual leave (including Christmas / New Year break), plus bank holidays.
Enrolment onto the People’s Pension Scheme (as part of the staff of North Kent College Business Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of North Kent College).
Access to free parking and a number of onsite facilities, including gyms, restaurants and coffee shops.

How to apply:

If this sounds like the right next step for you, please visit North Kent College’s staff vacancies page to view the full job description and submit your application.

The closing date for applications is Monday 3 August 2026. However, if the quality of existing applications allows, we reserve the right to close prior to this point.
