The South East Construction Technical Excellence College (SECTEC) is seeking an enthusiastic SECTEC Coordinator to support the development and day-to-day operation of our pioneering Regional Knowledge Centre (RKC), helping to transform construction education across the South East.

Working closely with the SECTEC Regional Knowledge Centre Project Manager, you will coordinate continuing professional development (CPD) for further education construction tutors, support curriculum development and innovation, and help deliver the Teacher Industry Exchange (TIE) programme. You will work with education providers, employers and industry partners to build strong collaborative relationships, organise meetings and events, and support the growing network of construction professionals across the region.

You will also play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of the Regional Knowledge Centre, supporting project reporting, governance and evaluation, maintaining the online learning environment, and ensuring resources and communications are effectively managed. Your work will help drive continuous improvement in construction education and support the development of a skilled workforce for the future.

The Role:

Where you’ll work: This role is based primarily at our campuses in Dartford (SusCON) and Gravesend, but will require frequent travel and will offer flexibility for home working when appropriate.

Your hours: Up to 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE).

Your contract: This is a fixed-term contract due to finish on 31 March 2029

Your pay: £36,547 per annum
