Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Location: Near Uckfield
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time considered – minimum 4 days per week)

I am currently working with a highly respected and forward-thinking law firm that is seeking to expand its residential property team. My client, a Lexcel and Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited legal practice, is looking to appoint a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled conveyancing solicitor who is confident in managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. You will be handling a range of matters, including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Remortgages
Transfers of equity
You will work closely with both clients and colleagues to ensure the delivery of a high standard of legal service. Support staff are available, and the firm offers a well-structured, professional, and friendly environment.

Key Requirements:

Recent and demonstrable experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A client-focused approach with a personable and professional manner
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with case management systems (desirable, but training provided if needed)
Familiarity with key digital tools and platforms such as Land Registry portals, Government Gateway, AML search systems, and online quotation tools
