B2B Telephone Salesperson

Based in Tunbridge Wells town centre my client is now looking for a telephone sales person to help grow their already successful business. They have some recognisable household names as clients.

Office hours 9-5 with an hour for lunch, finish at 4pm on Friday’s.

Role

Ultimately to make sales appointments for the director and sales team

Office based, telephone outbound calling (and to handle inbound queries as well)

Data provided - Targeting business’s based in London, South East and East Anglia

Data will include - Company name, person in charge, full contact details, size of business etc

Collate data to build company database i.e call back in three months. In contract for 18 months, send info, nurture clients etc.

Products include - Hosted / cloud based phone systems. Full contact centre features. Voice recording. Data lines (Broadband, lease lines) WAN - (Wide area networks) LAN - (Local Area Networks) Mobiles, all networks. Full suite of IT services from Office 365 etc.

Full sales and product training given

Ideal Person

Ability to pick up the phone and make cold calls from an existing database

Circa 2 appointments a day following probationary period

You will be tenacious, focused and clearly a great communicator as you will be dealing with IT managers, IT Directors, Procurement people, FD’s and Managing Directors .

Will need to be persistent, especially to get past the gate keepers.

Highly organised and be able to plan your day

Sales driven. Open/ closed questions, be able to think on your feet and be able to match my clients products with the customer's requirements

Excellent telephone manner

Excellent rapport building skills

Ability to close a sale and set appointments for Director

Basic salary circa 15-18k depending on experience as well as open ended uncapped commission, targeted on Appointments made and deals won.
