We are seeking a practical person with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is prepared to turn their hand to anything, sometimes at short notice. The role will e varied, no two days are the same in our busy school and we are therefore looking for someone who: • Has a flexible approach • Has experience of using tools and machinery to carry out repairs/site maintenance • Is able to work both alone and as part of a team • Has a willingness to work outside core hours, if required • Is reliable • Is a good timekeeper The successful applicant will report directly to the Site Manager and involves supporting with the general maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds work, including undertaking minor repairs, porter duties, the locking and unlocking of buildings, lawn mowing, liaising with contractors and ensuring the school site

The aim of the role is to provide a good cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the school, resulting in a clean and healthy environment or pupils and staff. Duties include all aspects of cleaning within a school includi g the daily cleaning of classrooms, office and washroom areas. We are looking for someone who is: • Reliable • Responsible • A good time-keeper • Previous experience of school cleaning is preferable however, training will be provided.
