We are currently seeking a HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver to work on behalf of a well established local organisation based just outside of Chatham. You will be confident with good communication skills for this exciting new role. This is not a delivery driver role, it is working on essential services. Full training will be given on driving this vehicle which is a left hand drive. The successf l candidate will have held their licence for a minimum of 1 year with no more than 6 penalty points on their licence for insurance purposes. You will hold a full CPC and Digital Tachograph. Hours of work are based around Monday to Friday,6:00am to 2:30pm. There is occasional overtime which is paid over 40 hours and weekends will be paid at an enhanced rate. A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Recycling Production Operative & Forklift Driver for an immediate start initially on a temporary basis to join their recycling team. The company is based in outer Medway/Maidstone. There may be an opportunity for a permanent role after a qualifying period. You will have an externally accredited B1 counterbalance licence. Duties will include: * Manual handling, sorting waste products from mixed wood based products and removing contaminated waste before it is processed. * Forklift driving * Machine operation, using the bailing machine and general housekeeping duties, sweeping and cleaning. * No heavy lifting is involved however due to the process recycling involved on site, the environment can be dirty and dusty.
