Your new company A North Kent based Building contractor focussed on the minor civils/Hard landscaping sector seek an experienced materials buyer to join the stable team. Long established with a good local reputation in their sector they are focussed on public sector/framework projects typically in the hard landscaping, surfacing and minor civils areas. Due to an internal move they are looking a m terials buyer to be office based and oversee all procurement/Buying for the Site teams, adding best value and process improvements where possible. This is a permanent role, immediately available. Your new role As company buyer you will sit within a commercial team of 5 working closely with the quantity surveyor, estimator, contracts managers and Site teams, Main function will be to ensure the company obtains quality materials and equipment hire for competitive prices in a timely fashion.
