Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented credit controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in using accounting software including Microsoft Excel, and have a strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: * Checking a customer's credit and approving or denying it, based on industry standards. * N gotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions. * Setting up repayments and working with Debt Counsellors. * Ensuring customers pay on time and charge them for overdue invoices. * Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time. * Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs. * Maintaining accurate records. * Implementing changes in the company's credit control system. Qualifications and Skills: * At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. * Proficient in using accounting software including Microsoft Excel. * Highly analytical when analysing and interpreting data. * Outstanding attention to detail. * Strong communication skills.
