My client is a school, based just outside Horsham. They are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role will have responsibility for providing a wide range of month end and transactional accounting requirements, alongside the overall production of management accounts to include analysis and commentary. In more detail the role will: - Ensure monthly financial statements are produced for all budget holders and ensure the Academy has quality financial information to support decision making. - Proactively work with the Head of Finance to ensure budget holders are supported to resolve any concerns or difficulties with their financial performance. - Preparation of the annual budgets and medium-term financial plan including ongoing budget management with key stakeholders - Ensure accruals and pre-payments are updated accurately, working alongside the finance team members to ensure day to day transactional tasks are accurately   Applications are sought from candidates either formally qualified or actively studying
