Head Coach, University of Kent and Rowing Coach, King’s School, Canterbury.
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a dual role coaching position with the University of Kent and King’s School, Canterbury.
For the University of Kent there is a requirement for a Head Coach to develop the University rowing, create a sustainable programme and drive the University Boat Club forward positively as the University moves into the School facility at Westbere Lake. Alongside this there is an opportunity to coach within the King’s School Boat Club and gain the benefit of working within a larger coaching team.
This is an exciting development for both Institutions as well as rowing within the region and is ideal for a coach looking to develop further whilst gaining invaluable experience and support in this new role.
Hours of Work: (King’s School)
Flexibility is required in this role and the hours worked may vary.
This is a part time position based on 12 hours a week:
Tues 2.00pm – 4:30pm
Weds & Fri 2.00pm – 4:30pm (winter) 4.00pm – 6.30pm (summer)
Saturday 12.00-4.30pm
Holiday training including a week at Easter will be required as well as some weekends attending regattas.
Hours of Work: (University of Kent)
This role is required for 15 hours per week, however the hours of work will be varied, across term time and will require some flexibility.
