Fundraising and Community Officer

East Kent Hospitals Charity supports the hospitals across East Kent by raising funds for the wards and services provided by East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, which is one of the largest Hospital Trusts in England.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community by managing the fundraising for the charity which supports patients facilities , research and training.

If successful you will be an important link between the charity, the hospital and the local community by ensuring fundraising ideas and events are in place. The role will take you all over East Kent networking with local business, volunteers and local organisations in order to both promote and lift the profile of the charity as well as to establish and develop long term relationships with other local charitable groups.

As a confident and enthusiastic individual you will inspire patients, visitors and local community members to choose East Kent Hospitals Charity as their preferred charity to support. In addition to this you will be able to recruit, supervise, support and develop key volunteers to assist you in building East Kent Hospitals Charity into an even larger more effective local charity.
