HR Administration Apprenticeship
(HR CIPD Level 5 Qualification)
Role Type: Apprenticeship
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Location: Based at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital (Canterbury, Kent), and expected to travel to the learning provider main sites
Salary: up to £18,184
The Role:
As a HR Administration Apprentice, you will be a key member of the Compliance and People teams playing a supporting dual role. The successful candidate will be responsible for completion of critical administration procedures within the recruitment process ensuring a thorough and confidential service. Working alongside the people team, the role will support across a wide range of ER administration activities.
As well as paying competitively, we offer the successful candidate a unique opportunity to learn and earn the recognised professional CIPD level 5 HR qualification. You will have full support from the People and Talent team who will be hands on with your personal development goals.
You must have your own transport.
This is a hugely varied position and alongside earning your qualification, duties will include:
Supporting the team by ensuring employment contracts are properly completed, presented and delivered correctly
Maintaining the candidate compliance database
Uploading vacancies for job advertising and responding to all applications
Arranging interviews
Providing administrative support to the recruitment team
Providing support and address all enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Supporting the team to ensure compliance with all legal and statutory obligations
Completing audits and document checks
Organising own work schedule and working to agreed timescales
Providing cover/support for the People team
Assisting with the scheduling of meetings and co-ordinating team diaries
Occasional note taking on ER related meetings
Assisting with updating the ER tracker with case updates following contact with stakeholders
Maintaining accurate employee records in compliance with GDPR regulations
Our Ideal Candidate:
It is essential that you have:
Previous administration experience within a Human Resources/recruitment department and/or CIPD level 3 qualification
Good IT skills and knowledge of key computer-based tools such as Office, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Drive and enthusiasm
Problem solving skills and initiative to get things done accurately and to a high standard
An understanding of data protection
Own transport
Required qualifications
• GCSE’s (A-C or Level 4 & higher) Maths and English or equivalent
