Salary: Basic £45k - £60k OTE: £75k to £90k

Our client is recruiting a New Business Sales Executive to deliver IT and connectivity sales by achieving a sales target of £500,000 pa revenue through selling recurring products and services to businesses in a consultative manner by:

· Meeting the financial target by closing deals whilst representing the company in a professional manner

· Generating and nurturing relationships with potential customers to create a realistic sales pipeline and over time converting these opportunities into business won

· Developing sales plans and forecasts for target markets in order to build pipeline and reporting against these accurately

· Owning personal performance and delivering against KPIs

To achieve the above, the candidate must be able to:

· Generate own leads and build opportunities with target markets

· Qualify opportunities effectively and engage additional technical resource at the appropriate stage within the sales process

· Write proposals and pitch solutions at board level, engaging with multiple kinds of audience

· Identify decision makers and influencers and navigate board room politics through strong relationship building

· Close deals with long term benefit (e.g. recurring revenue in contracts of three years)

Expected skills and experience are:

· Experience of finding and closing two to five £100K-£1M contracts to multisite corporate customers per annum

· Understanding and having proven experience in selling private WAN solutions, including technologies such as MPLS & SD-WAN

· The ability to generate own leads (so that there are 10-15 active qualified opportunities in the pipeline at any one time)

· The ability to write and the presence to present proposals & tenders at board level in companies

· Experience and understanding of the procurement dynamics/landscape within corporate structures (FDs, CTOs, IT Directors, Operations Directors and CEOs)
