We are currently offering three full time, ongoing positions to undertake all aspects of the administration of student enquiries and admissions, from the point of first enquiry through to the point of registration at the University.
It is critical that the role holder will ensure that applicants have a fair, positive and satisfying experience, ensuring compliance with visa regulations, qualifications and fee requirements.
As Information and Admissions Assistant you will:
• provide advice and guidance internally and to candidates related to academic admissions
• accurately input and maintain data and produce standard management reports
• provide post-offer guidance and advice to applicants, ensuring that queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively
• attend and assist with registration and admissions queries on applicant days and University Open days. This involves working a number of Saturday events.
To succeed in this role you will have:
• GCSE English and maths grade C or above, or equivalent
• previous clerical/administration experience gained in a team-oriented, results focused, process driven, high turnover office environment
• previous experience of working in a customer service environment
• the ability to write clearly, with a high level of accuracy
Interviews are likely to be held on the 24th and 25th of May 2021.
The Directorate of Marketing, Outreach, Recruitment and Admissions is a new directorate and aims to bring together the University’s key recruitment activities to ensure that a co-ordinated and collaborative approach is taken. With a focus on outcomes, it has ambitious targets to achieve across all audiences.
