Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is a unique and contemporary hotel and conference venue situated in the inspirational grounds of Canterbury Cathedral. The Lodge is keen to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join the busy housekeeping team.
The work of a Canterbury Cathedral Lodge and Communal Cleaner varies from day to day with tasks including:
- the cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms;
- keeping public areas of the Lodge and the Cathedral Precincts clean;
- office cleaning;
- and the manning and cleaning of the Cathedral's public conveniences - all to a high level of cleanliness.
This post is offered on a 16 hour per week contract, fixed term until 31st December 2021
Candidates must be able to work under their own initiative, be conscientious and have excellent hygiene standards. Experience in a similar position would be advantageous - however training will be given. Candidates must also be flexible in their approach to hours and days worked as shifts vary between the hours of 7am to 5.30pm, seven days a week.
