We are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for a large contract based in Chichester for 10+ Drivers to start mid to end February for training.

Responsibilities:

To operate a LGV1 vehicle, delivering danish trolleys of plants various locations around the south.
Performing pre and post vehicle check ins accordance with company policy and reporting any defects found.
Completing all deliveries within required timeslots with a professional and efficient manner.
Following all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:

No more than 6 points / no DD's, DR's or IN's.
Good knowledge of Tacho rules and regulations.
Previous LGV1 experience with references.
Candidates must hold a current HGV1 licence with full CPC and Digi Card.
Hours of Work:

Drivers are expected to start around 0600 unless stated differently from the client. Drivers are expected to work between 10-12 hours per day
7 day working operation- flexible on drivers preference of preferred shifts.
Options for nights outs if wanted by the driver.
This role is to start end February/Beginning of March for 3-4 months.
Pay Rates:

Standard: £15.00ph PAYE, £17.00.00 Umbrella
Overtime premiums for Saturdays and Sundays
