Production Manager

Office Based, option for hybrid after probation

£35k - £40k plus 20 days holiday + closure over Xmas, annual bonus, social team events, pension and progression opportunities.

West Molesey with on-site parking

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (flexible)

Start date: Asap!

Overview:

An amazing opportunity to join a small family run business in West Molesey who have expanded into a national and global success. They are looking for a super organised individual who is good at collaborating with all departments and strives to deliver customer excellence.

You will work closely with the sales team and factory managers to co-ordinate and schedule all production projects and be able to report progress of production to management and the client when required.

Sounds interesting?...Daily duties include:

* Liaise with account managers from handover stage, to process the order with the factory and to commence the production workflow.
* Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule to manage orders and to manage expectations
* Build and maintain effective working relationships within the factory, and all relevant internal teams
* Assist to motivate production, promoting engagement and focus, in aid of delivering production plans and targets.
* To co-ordinate and report on factory schedules and monitor production performance versus plan to ensure production is delivered to meet forecasted lead times
* Keep project managers up to date on jobs using the CRM system and alter production where required
* Liaise with operations and the client to coordinate expected deliveries to site locations.

Set up a quality control process at the factory so the company is confident with the product leaving the factory.

* Liaise with the factory to ensure items are packed suitably, clearly labelled to make a smoother process when goods arrive at the warehouse.
* Collaborate internally to resolve system weaknesses, KPI's or performance related issues.
* Help to develop new processes and initiatives to further improve overall production performance.
* Proactively seek to Improve the production workflows and client journey.
* Co-ordinate with other operation members to ensure material is ordered for projects.
* Hold weekly meetings with the sales team members and management regarding orders.
