Human Resource Manager / Office Assistant

Up to 60k PLUS great benefit package!

Based in Wimbledon

Overview:

Our client is a global leader in the luxury hospitality industry, with a vast portfolio of over 500 hotels spanning four continents. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join their team based in South West London.

The Human Resources Manager will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining a positive work environment for the corporate office's staff members. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best HR practices, aligning HR initiatives with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Sounds good?...Your responsibilities will include…

1 Policy Development and Implementation:

* Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to create a fair, consistent, and inclusive work environment.
* Continuously update policies to reflect changes in legal requirements and industry best practices.

1 Legal Compliance:

* Ensure all HR practices adhere to relevant employment laws and regulations.
* Keep abreast of legal changes and proactively implement necessary adjustments.

1 Employee Relations:

* Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and proactive employee engagement strategies.
* Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and confidential manner.

1 Compliance Audits:

* Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
* Implement corrective actions as needed to address any discrepancies.

1 General Office Administration:

* Oversee general office administrative tasks, ensuring a well-organised and efficient work environment.
* Collaborate with various departments to support office operations.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the hospitality or similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* HR certification (e.g., SHRM or CIPD) is a plus.
