School Office Administrative Manager

Are you passionate about working in an education environment?

Do you have experience in a senior admin role?

£30,010 to £34,740 (pro rata) plus holiday, pension, progression opportunities and much more!



Term time plus 2 weeks in the holidays



Kingston, with onsite parking



Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm - flexible options available!



Start date: Asap!

Daily duties include:

* Be responsible for the management of the First Aid provision within the school
* Manage school admissions throughout the academic year
* Maintain accurate pupil records both manually and electronically
* Completion of the School Census and other relevant DfE and Trust returns
* Management of an efficient Reception Office space, ensuring all enquiries or requests for assistance are dealt with professionally and efficiently
* Maintain relationships with the wider community including other schools and external organisations
* Responsibility for the recording of staff absence, in accordance with the staff absence policy
* To arrange interviews and interview schedules
* Completion of statistical and census reports
* Maintain the waiting list and oversee the admissions for Nursery
* Organise and manage the visits of prospective parents to the school
* Check attendance daily, manage online registration through SIMS or generic system and monitor pupil absence
* Gather and maintain information of pupils entitled to free school meals

Required:

* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
* Experience within an education environment
* To have the ability to prioritise and work accurately
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office, SIMS and Arbor
* Understand the importance of safeguarding within a school environment
