Lecturer in Animal Management (Fixed Term Contract)

Sharing your knowledge to unlock potential whilst guiding our learners through their studies, you’ll work as part of the curriculum team to create and deliver lessons across a range of qualification levels, inspiring achievement and the best possible outcomes. The successful candidate will be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to maintain a proactive approach to managing deadlines, whilst retaining a high standard of delivery.

Home to over 500 individual animals, our ever-expanding collection includes a fascinating range of exotic and domestic species such as otters, foxes, meerkats, a serval, a civet, and many more. This diverse collection not only enhances the learning experience for our students but also creates a unique and stimulating environment for staff who are passionate about animal care, education, and welfare.

The Role:

Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Hadlow campus.

Your hours: Up to 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (0.8 FTE). We will consider any part-time hours, please specify in your supporting statement the hours that you are able to commit to.

Your contract: This is a part time, fixed-term contract to 30 June 2026.

Your pay: £28,689.60 - £35,296.80 pro rata per annum (£35,862 to £44,121 per annum full time equivalent), dependent on qualifications and experience.
