Join Our Team as a Production Operative

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join the production team on the outskirts of Dover; this exciting opportunity allows you to join a committed team with progression, overtime, and bonuses.

The Role

Position: Full-time, permanent

Location: Dover, UK - Will need to drive due to location

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (days & nights) - Rotating - 5:45am to 6:15pm then 5:45pm to 6:15am

Hours: 40.25 per week (12.5-hour shifts)

Pay: £12.71 per hour (days) | £14.15 per hour (nights)

As a Production Operative, you'll help manufacture high-quality products, operate production machinery, handle materials, and support smooth, efficient production processes.

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

Assemble, pack, and inspect products in line with quality standards.

Carry out routine quality checks and report any defects or issues.

Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.

Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Follow production schedules and work to daily output targets.

Pay & Progression

After 3-month probation: £12.60 per hour (days) / £14.50 per hour (nights)

Career Development Path: Progress to Multiskilled Operator after learning all six operational roles (£13.90 per hour, typically within6-12 months).

Roles include: Stacking & Packing, Quality Control, Material Loading, and Machinery Operation.

Further progression opportunities:

Deputy Zone Leader: £14.40 per hour

Zone Leader: £15.40 per hour

Deputy Shift Leader: £16.15 per hour

Shift Leader: £18.40 per hour
